The next
working class
Bookfair
will take place on;
Saturday the
5th of November at

11.30-4.30pm
Call 07931301901 for information.
REMEMBER REMEMBER the 5th of November when you're after good political discussion, books and when we're organising to bring down the TORY BASTARD government.
The Liberals are collapsing cos they're career oportunists,
its class against class now and you have to take sides.
Our side are the poor, workers, unemployed, the NEETS, disabled, the pensioners and those trying to get a decent pension, and the otherwise oppressed such as the trainee workers -
THE STUDENTS.
Words are not enough though and we have to put ideas into practice on a large scale.
Come and plan for the day out in London when the massed ranks of education workers, students and the otherwise pissed off at the CONDEM government will be making their voices heard for once on the large STUDENT protest on November 9th.
The Tory conference in early October is seeing a callout to protest and we support all efforts to remove or blockade the hypocritical Tory bastards. Hopefully we will be hearing from those who went to the Manchester Tory conference about what a great time they had.
Books, mags and pamphlets will cover; local and general history, Marxism, environment, football and other sport, culture, railways, mining, fiction, social science, co-operatives, economics, anarchism, international relations, socialism, trade unions, sex, drugs & rock n' roll... :)
This is an open invite to all fellow travellers and
troublemakers to come on down to the November
5th bookfair and have a great time.

The Working Class Bookfair was in Sunderland on May 8th 2010, & also the Working Class bookfair headed to Newcastle on Saturday, March 6th 2010, to the Bridge Hotel, upstairs.
This traditional working class movement venue had an important Labour movement event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the end of the Miners strike. Several NUM speakers, including President Ian Lavery, North East area NUM President and general secretary, Davy Guy and Davy Hopper, RMT, FBU and many more. It was a great event.

This event is part of efforts to build a working class movement for the 21st century in these credit crunched times. There is a tremendous need to spread good ideas and the Working Class Bookfair spawned another event which took place in one of the historically important parts of the working class and labour movement. There are many people, trade unionists and so on who have been to Ruskin College, see here for details;
